EPDA Announces 2018 Design Competition Winners!
The European Product Design Award—an event dedicated to elevating the art of Product Design—has announced the winners of its 2018 Design Competition in both Professional and Student divisions. The 2018 EPDA Design Competition received outstanding entries from over 60 countries around the world, representing the best and most innovative product designs from Home Interior Products and Illumination to Packaging Design and Sustainable Living. The European Product Design Awards is supported by major universities and design schools across the globe, as well as design consultancy firms and major brands.

2018 EPDA Winners:
After viewing and evaluating so many truly outstanding product designs, the Jury selected Italian Designer Paolo Cappello as the 2018 Product Designer of the Year, for his exceptional work, “Caruso, Music Cabinet”. The grand prize in the professional division earned Paolo Capello the EPDA trophy and critical acclaim by the EPDA international Jury.
Anja Lukovic and her team took the top spot in the Student division, being named 2018 “Emerging Product Designer of the Year” for their work “Ugli”. The design also received the coveted EPDA Trophy.
Each category winner, as well as Honorable Mentions in each category, have also been announced and can be found on the winner’s page of the EPDA website HERE. All EPDA winners are awarded the TIFA winning seal and certificate.
The EPDA 2018 Winner’s Announcement will be held at the European Parliament where selected winners will have the opportunity to present their innovations. The evening Winners Cocktail event will take place at the prestigious ADAM – Brussels Design Museum on Wednesday 26th of September 2018, which is Design Month in Brussels. Guests will meet EPDA winners, staff, jury members and press representatives during a private viewing of the museum’s exhibition. EPDA winning designs will be showcased by projection at the event, and winners will receive their trophy and certificates.

We reward the strategic thinking and imagination that goes into making a great product.
