Liang Qiao obtained his PhD degree from Hunan University, also as joint training PhD from Politecnico di Milano. He his now the Head of Industrial Design Department from School of Design, Jiangnan University, which is one of the top design schools in China. With automotive design background, his research focuses include mobile lifestyle design and intelligent interaction. In this domain, he hosted two major research projects named Humanities and Social Science Fund of Ministry of Education, PRC., and published several papers indexed in CSSCI, SSCI, EI.
As a practice-based researcher, he has rich cooperation experience with the industrial. His design works covers various fields such transportation design, complex equipment products, human- computer interaction and experience, including those for Fortune Global 500 companies. He also guided students to win multiple design awards both domestically and internationally.
