Studio Grau created the label design for the
brand new Stork Club Whiskey. SpreeWood
Distillers are
a small premium distillery one hour from
Berlin. In the quiet woods of the Speewald
you can find just the right climate for
excellent whisky maturation.
As Spreewald is a biosphere reserve, there
are a lot of protected animal species there.
The most important being the stork, which is
the patron for the little village, where the
distillery is located at.
SpreeWood Distillers wanted a new and fresh
approach for their whiskey label, avoiding
the traditional ‚whisky-look‘. Bringing a bit
of Berlin spirit into the country side. So
Studio Grau’s task was to combine modern
design with a strong picture element (the
stork) to create something ‚different‘. On a
simple but chic bottle the label with it’s
hotfoil embossing adds just the right amount
of contemporary edge to the packaging.
