Most product practices still only pay attention
on establishing a single product’s operation
process but ignore a product only exists as a
segment in an everyday activity. Since
designers do not deliver a thoughtful activity
operation flow to users, people have to figure
out their activity operation process by
themselves and randomly form the activity flow
that may be not the optimal pathway. Pacasule
is an experimental practice to convey that a
reliable activity flow for easily adapting,
responding and exploiting can be facilitated via
a product, ultimately it can connect multiple
products from different brands into a solid
network. As result, Pacasule has successfully
mapped the activity flow of cleaning cat litter
box with learnable mental structure patterns.
The cleaning task flow with Pacasule has
obviously fewer steps. Unlike current litter box
or litter disposal perceive a scoop as an
accessory with the purchasing; or only
considers visual harmony between pail and
scoop; or provides features as the pail can
store the scoop or the scoop has a hook to be
attached on the pail; the connection between
Pacasule scoop and Pacasule waste disposal
pail has a considerable meaningful relationship.
Both of them directly push the movement of
activity forward and contribute to the task flow
equally.
