The knife rest "Hashioki" is an exclusive tabletop accessory, hand carved from a natural Citrine crystal. The object measures 50x18mm, and weighs 84.26 carat (aprox. 16.8 gram). The carving of the Citrine is a characteristic design from the Munsteiner studio. Beside the Citrine model, "Hashioki" is also available in variations of different gemstones, including clear quartz, smoky quartz and rutilated quartz.

Bio
“Designing the stone” is the motivating maxim in the Munsteiner studio. Our major focus lies in the modern shaping of gemstones. This has already gained international recognition and won several awards. Expertly selected minerals are turned into valuable unique objects by means of new cutting styles. Beryl, tourmaline, garnet, amethyst, citrine, ametrine, fire opal, rock crystal and rutile quartz are our main working material. Our goldsmiths produce innovative unique jewellery in gold and platinum, including our cut gemstones.
