- “There is no shadow without light” -

This lamp challenges shadow. Or light. Or shadow. The one can not be without the other, can it? This lamp stands thanks to his own shadow. The base of the lamp is literally its shadow. The design is a product of research into the behavior of light and the tension between lights and shadows. In this design the two are meshed.

The lamp is made out of matt black powder coated steel with a porcelain lamp holder. Dimensions: 26 cm (w) x 21 cm (d) x 40 (h).

Bio
Studio 212 Fahrenheit was founded by Albert Buring (Amsterdam, 1977) and Paul Mulder (Oldekerk, 1979). Studio 212 Fahrenheit is a Dutch design studio aiming to surprise clients, but especially our audiences by creating distinctive design for spaces, installations, products and art. We create specific designs for governments, agencies, brands and museums. We are Groningen-based but work internationally.
