Orange is working on a concept of a kids’ remote control for children from 3 to 10 years old. It aims at protecting children from inappropriate contents and excessive screen time. When the child uses the remote control, the set top box automatically recognizes him, applies the Audio Visual Council filters, and gathers TV and VOD contents dedicated to children. The remote is designed for children with an adapted diameter, limitation of the number of keys and vocal interaction. If lost, you can make it ring and find it. Finally, parents can define a limitation of time screen in the settings.
