  Most Benches Or Seaters Are Very Basic To Look At And Made From Conventional Process Of Cement, Steel, Wood Or Fiber Glass. We Wanted To Create A Seating Which Would Invoke A Thought Process – Start A Dialogue. The Shape Itself Should Be A Story. The Product Had To Be Drastically Different And Contemporary Design For A New Range Of Seating. It Must Have An “indian / Asian” Context To It. It Must Be One Piece Moulded, Easy To Produce. Must Have The Option Of Lighting. Should Have A Low Carbon Footprint. Should Be Able To Be Moulded From Recycled Waste Material To Be Environment Friendly. This Product Was Released In Early 2016.

ENEA (En-EYA)

Inspired from the Chinese philosophy of the Yin & Yang, where
how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually
complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the
natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they
interrelate to one another. Yin is negative, dark, and feminine,
Yang positive, bright, and masculine. Their interaction is
thought to maintain the harmony of the universe and to
influence everything within it. Shadow cannot exist without
light. The yin yang (i.e. taijitu symbol) shows a balance
between two opposites with a portion of the opposite element
in each section. ENEA – our beautifully crafted bench can be
seen holding these elements perfectly within itself. It’s holding
the forces of light and shadow within itself.

Our ENEA bench is made from 100% recyclable polyethylene
plastics & is rotationally moulded. Options of moulding from
waste of Tetra Pack also available.

Sereno is engaged in design and manufacturing of polymer based planters, seating and lamps. Great emphasis is given on recyclability of polymers. Our products carry CE certification by TUV, Nord. Design language is very contempory and follows the path of contunous evolution.
