The wall ornament "Cascade" consists of a total of 160 natural Amethyst gemstones, which have been designed and carved in our studio. Each gem has a distinct cutting style. The stones are aligned in a pattern that resembles a flow of water. The color of the gems varies from light to dark purple, from the top to the bottom of the frame. The frame itself is made from a single piece of Aluminum, with a white background. "Cascade" is best displayed on a neutral wall, with a light source (sunlight or lamp) to showcase the reflections of the gemstones.

Bio
“Designing the stone” is the motivating maxim in the Munsteiner studio. Our major focus lies in the modern shaping of gemstones. This has already gained international recognition and won several awards. Expertly selected minerals are turned into valuable unique objects by means of new cutting styles. Beryl, tourmaline, garnet, amethyst, citrine, ametrine, fire opal, rock crystal and rutile quartz are our main working material. Our goldsmiths produce innovative unique jewellery in gold and platinum, including our cut gemstones.
