Crafted from pure American walnut, the Congonhas Pendant Lamp was designed by Gisela Bentes Simas inspired by an airplane wing, specifically the Boeing 737-800. It reminds her of a mix of technology, movement and freedom.
After the prototype was ready we have exhibited Congonhas at London Dsign Festival and at the London design museum in London.
Available on 3 sizes, this elegant wing form looks striking as a dining room, or living room, centerpiece.

Bio
Gisela Bentes Simas is the new comer. Founder of OPD , Original Practical Design, Gisela has had a tremendous 2017 with pieces shown at Milan Design Week, Venice Design Biennale, Paris Auction at Piasa and London Design Festival.
