Despite effective medicines and treatments being available, respiratory conditions like Asthma and COPD are a major cause of deaths in both children and adults.
Wideblue developed a ground breaking new personal medical device which monitors a patients normal relaxed breathing. Clinical trials have shown the device can predict a COPD or Asthma attack 2-3 days before it happens, long enough to treat / prevent the attack.
Although complex, the product design brief was to make the product as simple and intuitive as possible whilst still incorporating advanced data analysis, IR optics, and4G comms.
