Flash EVD is a surgical navigation system for the placement of external ventricular drains (EVDs). EVDs are placed by neurosurgeons, often under emergent conditions.
Flash EVD provides a radiation-free, proprietary camera technology and machine-vision algorithms to create a fast, accurate model of a patient’s brain. The EVD can then be inserted precisely without damaging sensitive brain tissue.
SeaSpine's Flash EVD System puts a complex technology in the footprint of a side chair. The cart is small enough to store in a hallway and light enough to move quickly to the bedside in an emergency.
