SIP™ is disposable pressure and flow control safety accessory to the manual resuscitator i.e. Bag Valve Mask (BVM). The medical device generates safe inspiratory pressure every time the BVM is squeezed. The safety threshold is relative to lung compliance. SIP™ standardizes manual ventilation across the entire spectrum of care providers, assisting under trained providers to ventilate like professionals. This ensures that complications of high-pressure ventilation like gastric insufflation, vomiting, aspiration pneumonia, and ARDS are prevented, improving patient care and reducing costs.
