Cloud chair design is based on 3d knitted mesh on a steeltube construction. The manufacturing process can be considered environmentally friendly due to the fact that no waste material comes out of the knitting process, each produced polyester mesh element is ready to be assembled directly after being produced. Assembling the seat element tightens the mesh creating the beautiful lines and makes sitting comfortable and ergonomically pleasent. The wooden legs are assembled last adding that homy warm feeling. Several colour options available for the mesh and the seat.

Bio
Interior architect SIO Jouni Leino founded his studio already in the 1990's and since has developed projects mostly for public spaces and offices. Jouni has designed furniture for well-known Finnish brands like Inno, Avarte and Vivero. He has worked as professor and lecturer for West-Finland Design Centre Muova, Helsinki University Of Art And Design and Shanghai International College Of Fashion And Innovation and as an external examiner at Dublin Institute of Technology.
