Surgical robots produce better outcomes, shorter hospital stays and faster recoveries. Patients ask about them and so do surgeons. Once you experience robotics, there is no turning back. Smith & Nephew needed a way to introduce surgeons to the benefits of robotic surgery.
They needed a cart to put robotics on the road and they needed it small enough to fit in a suitcase. We used Design Thinking and mobility to give surgeons the chance to try robotics and it worked.
Surgeons got accuracy and control and patients got their lives back.
