Spring Chair

Spring chair is a bent lamination cane woven outdoor lounge chair drawing inspiration from Spanish moss found so abundantly in Savannah, GA. The chair is designed as a lounging chair for outdoors with a recline that shifts your front horizontal view to an upward view of the canopies of trees above. The shift in vantage point was at the core of the design. The chair is a single line silhouette intended to not interrupt the outdoor landscape and the mesh like weave that blends into the landscape.
