Health literacy is the ability of people to understand health information so they can make informed decisions about their own health. When entering the medical system, a lack of knowledge and preparedness makes people feel like they lack control. Wellnest is a system that provides patients with actionable information about their health and doctors with insight into patient concerns. It addresses the anxieties and lack of information patients have before entering the medical environment, and then provides easy access to essential information after leaving.
