The after-effects of disaster renders the affected community miserable and helpless. To promote the recuperation process and minimize the discomfort 'Carapace' was designed. It is a temporary housing unit for a post-disaster scenario. Made to withstand extreme external pressures and support various terrain the design allows flexibility as it is modifiable, quick, and easy to deploy and construct. The whole unit is a shelter kit to be deployed and assembled on-site.
