Hug is a semi-make furniture kit that brings in craft through upholstery to address anxiety in the US. As 45 minutes of crafting can decrease stress hormone levels by 75%, Hug allows the user to be a part of the design process within their home. Not only is the kit affordable, but it provides everything needed for the user to design their own chair. Simply begin by assembling the base chair frame using the components included in the kit, before upholstering each cushion using your chosen crafting method. From building the frame to starting the upholstery journey, Hug’s aim is to ease anxiety.
