MUSSEL BREEDING PURIFIER

Not only are mussels immune to microplastic poisoning, but they may have a way of filtering microplastics from seawater, the study found. In response, our team designed a mussel culture purifier that utilizes the mussels' ability to filter microplastics and nanofiltration technology to collect mussel feces to purify seawater. The product effectively captures and isolates microplastic particles in the water. It also detects the concentration of microplastics in the water and the amount of mussel feces collected, making it easy for fishermen to recycle the collected microplastics.
