Already selected among the winners of the European Space Agency competition, the ESA Space Suit is designed in two main layers to guarantee the high standards of protection and visibility needed in outer space. The first layer is the high tech textile one - capable of ensuring all vital functions of our space travelers - with a focus on the application of the ESA's visual identity to the product. The second layer is made of an additional rigid exoskeleton, designed to provide enhanced physical strength and support to astronauts, assisting them in performing physically demanding tasks.
Bio Before assuming the role of Art Director at D-Air Lab, Alberto Piovesan served as Product Designer at Dainese, where he was responsible for the development of safety equipment in motorbike and multisport collections.
