As pressure mounts to reduce construction site emissions, Gaia Group UK have developed the SolarWedge, a unique solution to onsite solar energy collection. By using a controllable inflatable tube, the angle of the solar panel can be adjusted from 20-32 degrees, enabling the panel to track the sun more effectively and improve efficiency by an estimated 15-20%. Inherent benefits of the inflatable tube system mean that the SolarWedge can be placed on uneven surfaces and deployed at an optimal working angle, at speeds that far outperform traditional rigid support structures.
