The Equalizer consists of a central profile with vertical tubes on both sides, which are equipped with both uplights and downlights. Thanks to the modular design, the Equalizer can be delivered as a flatpack. Ben Depuydt and Luc Binst found inspiration for the Equalizer in the concrete reinforcement structures, in which reinforcement bars cross each other perpendicularly. The rhythm and the difference in height of the tubes give the object a dynamic appearance, comparable to the visualization of a digital sound wave.
