One of the most common yet unresolved issues in nearly every household is the inability to open a window due to plants and decorations crowding the windowsill. This is especially important in Germany, where proper ventilation, or "Lüften", is a high priority. Frischluft addresses this need with an affordable, easy-to-install solution for any home. Using just two powder-coated steel holders, a solid oak board is mounted to the window and can support loads up to 10kg. A patent for the frischluft Fensterbrett (German for: fresh air window sill) is currently pending at the German Patent Office.

Bio Hey there!
I grew up in Hamburg in a family deeply rooted in the arts, but I spent most of my time taking apart broken household appliances to see how they worked. While the artistic influence is still a big part of who I am, my passion lies in designing and engineering innovative products. Right now, I'm applying for the European Product Design Award with my latest creation, Frischluft Fensterbrett, a product that tackles a problem I’ve faced for years: finding a way to ventilate my room effectively without disturbing the plants on my windowsill.

Feel free to reach out!

Cheers,
Bene
