Limina is designed with appropriate proportions and symmetry in mind. Brought to life from a single slab of high quality cherry, sourced locally. The structure is designed to contain the energy of light, harness it, and share it with the world. The structure flows up from the ground tapering to a small point, inspired by an experience I had in the forest watching a beaver meticulously chew around the trunk of a tree until it balanced precariously on one point in space. The structure then tapers back out and up as an enclosure for the source of light, carefully contained within the linen shades
