Bloom Lamp

The elemental aesthetics of the floor lamp is integrated with sensorial and gestural features, that is designed to delight the users by creating an active engagement. The dimmable lamp switches on through the central brass disc which acts as a touch sensor. The accordion paper screen can be adjusted at various angles and acts as an additional dimmer for more ambient lighting. The Sapele wood disc and brass elements were made using the turning process on the lathe.
