The Mo Medical Network

1 in 3 Americans has low health literacy, meaning they do not understand basic medical concepts and how it applies to their health. Those with low health literacy tend to be uninsured and are most likely to go to the emergency room for medical care for the same condition, due to lack of self care comprehension. The MO Medical Network is a social robot designed to help patients with low health literacy understand their condition, its affect on their lives, and help maintain longterm care out of hospital.
