Many homeowners are wary of bringing smart home technology into their homes, as they are concerned with security and the possibility of being hacked. By giving consumers the ability to access information and easily control their smart home devices, there is a significant drop in the lack of trust so many of consumers have. Cyberus is a hybrid smart home security system where consumers are offered transparency, knowledge, and management tools. Cyberus bridges the gap between security and consumers by informing and educating consumers about their smart home devices and security system.
