Characterized by its simplicity, the form of the coffee table is inspired by cubist paintings. The design tries to capture the idea of reducing an object to its outlines and viewing different perspectives in one. It takes its name after the number of lines the design of the table can be reduced to. Measuring 48”(l) x 24”(b) x 17”(h) the coffee table is made with 4 ¼ thick poplar wood, hand sanded, and finished in a satin PU polish. The legs are fragmented like a kaleidoscope with the three panels in each leg tapered and angled in two axes. The table is an expression of a single material.
