Cafe Swing
The cafe swing is a playful public furniture object, creating a familiar “place” in transitional spaces. It evokes the moods and memories of a cosy garden swing while also reminding you of a classical cafe chair. Its grass-like carpet base invites you to sit down and relax for a while. While swinging softly, the pink fabric parasol on top of the swing illuminates the space around you in a pleasant glow.

Bio Daniel Ronge is an industrial designer based in Munich, Germany.
Educated at Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd and Kolding Design School, he spent many years of his career in Copenhagen, Denmark, at kilo-design and KiBiSi.
Coming back to Munich, to be part of an international, interdisciplinary strategic design team, he then co-founded the knife brand Veark. Creating knives that carry an industrial beauty.
Partnering up with Mark Zeh’s Sonal Studio in 2021, the two are working on bringing product ideas to life the are both innovative and beautiful.
