Lucid Lamp

Aiming to translate art into a designed object, Lucid Lamp is inspired by Brion Gysin’s “The Dreamachine” (1960). Through the radial design of the lamp, movement is conveyed without the need for a rotating mechanism. Comprised of a CNC-milled walnut wood base, laser-cut acrylic panels, and a 3D printed diffuser, each piece of the lamp interlocks without the use of glue or hardware and flat packs easily once disassembled.
