Inspired by Rome's iconic Coliseum, this chair encapsulates the timeless beauty of history’s awe-inspiring architectural wonders. Strategic cuts adorn the sides, reminiscent of Roman detailing, lending depth and allowing air and water to flow through. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The ergonomic design offers optimal comfort with a contoured seat and backrest. Its sleek silhouette complements any contemporary space. Slide’s expertise shines through in the Coliseum Chair, blending artistic inspiration and practicality, making it a focal point in any space.

Bio
Alvaro Uribe is an American-born, Colombian-raised, and New York-based designer. Uribe's vision is to create products with ‘emotional function’, filling users' lives with joy and curiosity. His New York-based studio collaborates with brands numerous international brands, creating work that has received awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award, with exhibitions at MoMA San Francisco and the Phyletisches Museum in Germany. In addition, Alvaro is a Tenure Professor at Pratt Institute, mentoring new generations of designers.
